The Purpose -

In addition to experiencing the finest and freshest coffee, with each order placed, you are helping children throughout the world. 100% of the profits are being reinvested in the lives of orphan children through charity programs.








Fair Trade -

Also, buying Fair Trade coffee helps to make sure a fair share of the revenue is going to support farmers who grow the coffee beans. In many places, the coffee industry is the main source of income for families.







Organic and Shade Grown -

Beyond the benefit that shade can provide to migratory birds, shade grown coffee often tastes better. It slows down the growth creating more perceived acidity in the coffee.






Current Projects -

Construction has been completed for a group home in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where Christian house-parents are looking after the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of "their" children. This group home houses five children along with the Ethiopian Christian house-parent couple. Two more children will be added soon. Attached is the photo of Sion and her husband Eshetu and the five children. All of these children are orphaned due to their parents dying of AIDS. Thanks for the support, you truly are a blessing to the children in Ethiopia.

We seek to mobilize the church, His body, where each member can provide a unique and special service: some to adopt, some to care, some to give.

Lifesong’s Pledge
“Our Children” will have:

  • No want for food, clothing, or shelter.
  • Fundamental Christian training and discipleship.
  • A quality education to provide a foundation for the future.
  • Continued love and support as they transition into adult living. 

 


Orphans Helped -

Gobena has partnered with Lifesong for Orphans to bring hope to Ziway, Ethiopia. The current initiative is to develop a local school and equip a church in caring for orphans and vulnerable children:

  • Food, shelter and education
  • Sharing the good news of Jesus Christ
  • Christian parenting and discipleship
  • Job skills training / entrepreneurship
