The Purpose -

In addition to experiencing the finest and freshest coffee, with each order placed, you are helping children throughout the world. 100% of the profits are being reinvested in the lives of orphan children through charity programs.

Fair Trade -

Also, buying Fair Trade coffee helps to make sure a fair share of the revenue is going to support farmers who grow the coffee beans. In many places, the coffee industry is the main source of income for families.

Organic and Shade Grown -

Beyond the benefit that shade can provide to migratory birds, shade grown coffee often tastes better. It slows down the growth creating more perceived acidity in the coffee.

Current Project -

Construction is underway for a group home in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where Christian house-parents will look after the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of "their" children. This group home is organized and run by Loving Shepherd Ministries, and will have 7-8 children along with the Ethiopian Christian house-parent couple. Moses and Hannah (picture on the left) will be the first children to call this their home.

100% of the proceeds from Gobena Coffee are going to LSM's Ethiopian program for orphaned and at-risk children. You are making a difference!
